Thanks for a great weekend.
It was a really great experience to go through, and the whole crowd was really amazing. It felt like we'd known each other for a lot longer than two days.
I got some really positive things from the course, and picked up so much more information than I thought I would, every time I tell people about it I remember something else we were taught, or shown.
Dan, all your information about getting into the business has been extremely useful - and I hope I get the chance to make use of it before I run off to America - where I suspect it's probably twice as hard - although I think the basic principals of - put yourself out there to as many agents - - and the "me, me, me" approach will yield the right kind of results.
Peter, all the things you mentioned about colour, lighting and composition were really interesting too - and probably not the kind of thing you would normally be told as an actor.
Aside from all the actual course content - I had a really great time - I'm looking forward to seeing the DVD, and hopefully hearing from everyone in the future.
There was so much more than just being taught. The whole atmosphere was great, and I feel I made some great friends over the weekend. You can't put a price on that!

Hi Peter, Dan and Rory!
Just wanted to leave some feedback.
I've certainly got nothing but good things to say about this course - and you guys! Enjoyable, fun, very informative. I very much appreciated the directness, knowledge and skill with which the course was conducted. I'd definitely recommend it to any and all.

I just want to say a big thank you for running the very informative and inspiring acting for camera course. I honestly hadn’t tried any acting for many years and must admit my apprehension in getting back in to it. However saying that the atmosphere that you created really made me feel at ease as well as very comfortable in front of fellow students and the camera.
I had a really fantastic weekend learning some remarkably insightful tips from an extremely professional team. Thank you once again for giving me the confidence to get back in front of the camera.

Update:
I got the DVD a day or two after you sent it and it all worked fine. I was able to access all parts of it.Just wanted to say thank you once again for running the course, it’s just the sort of thing that budding actors need to introduce them into the world of film. It’s a great way to give actors a little tester of how they look on
camera and lets them work out the finer points of acting for the camera in a
safe environment.
Hope that the course continues with great success.
I had a great time and walked away feeling I have learnt a lot about acting in front of the camera and the dynamics of putting together a scene/film (something not covered in my actor training prior going to the course).
I found out what I needed to know regarding performing in front of a camera, where my weaknesses are, what to expect in a day on the set etc, as well as gaining vital advice on how to improve on weaknesses and get agent representation. This course has been great experience as well as great value for money. Keep up the work.
Thank you very much. ;o)

I have received my DVD and am very happy with the
results.
Dear Rory, Dan and Peter,
Thank you all so much for such an exciting and interesting weekend. I thourighly enjoyed the course and went away feeling like I had learned so much in such a short space of time. It was really worthwile.
You wanted some feedback on the course, but there was nothing I felt you guys hadn't touched on that could have been, only that it might have been interesting to try having a go behind the camera directing or shooting a scene although I feel this is a minor detail which probably would require more time than we had.
I definately think the course was good value for money - I probably would have paid a bit more for it actually And although I didn't have any, it thought it was nice that lunch was provided!!
I also found the advice Dan gave about drama schools, agents etc, extremely useful.
I look forward to seeing the edited footage Rory is putting together - hopefully with some of those 'bloopers' on it too for entertainment value!!

Hello Rory,Dan, and Pete,
Thanks again for the workshop.
Looking forward to seeing the footage, glad you think it's going well.
I'd definitly advise any of my friends who are actors to go on the course who haven't had much experience in front of the camera. It's given me more confidence for tv acting, and I think the friendly yet professional atmosphere really helped me open up.
It's surprising how many tiny little things an actor has to be aware of, especially when there's the pressure of having a full crew being on such a tight schedule. You gave the blunt truth of what acting in front of a camera really is like and I thank you for that. After even watching the unedited footage at the end of the day, I could see how all the tiny details worked. I'm looking forward to putting my training into practise, bit quiet at the moment but I'm sure things'll pick up soon.
